How billing works
Image generation is deterministic: the selected model and resolution set the entire credit cost before the request starts.
- Each generated image is billed at its listed resolution rate.
- There is no token calculation for image generation.
- A failed generation is refunded.
Price in practice
Choose the output resolution before generating: 0.5K, 1K, 2K, and 4K each have their own fixed price. Re-running a prompt is a new image request and is charged as such when it succeeds.
The price does not depend on prompt length, token count, or the complexity of the picture.
