How billing works
Cloud add-ons are capacity pools that renew on a 30-day period and are paid with credits.
- Database capacity is shared between managed NoSQL and SQL storage.
- Object capacity is a separate pool.
- The first period is prorated; a lapsed add-on no longer contributes capacity.
Price in practice
Capacity add-ons are recurring, unlike one-off tool calls. The first charge is prorated for the remaining part of the current 30-day period; later renewals use the regular cycle.
Database capacity and object-storage capacity are different pools. Buying one does not expand the other.

Questions
What happens when renewal cannot be paid?
The add-on lapses and affected full storage becomes read-only until enough credits are available again.
How often do capacity add-ons renew?
They renew on a 30-day cycle.
Can database capacity be used for object storage?
No. Database and object-storage capacity are separate add-on pools.
